For Ceramics 1, we made several great projects that included a coil pot,  matching mugs, a sgraffito plate, some thrown pieces, and finally, a food project. This class was essentially an intro to ceramics, teaching us basic ways to create beautiful pots. I am most proud of my matching mugs, but one in specific. This mug is green with a sand-like bottom strip. I am very proud of how the handle looks and fits in my hand easily. I also like how the glaze coats are even, giving off an even color throughout. This project helped to give me patients and trust in what it would come out to be. Ceramics class has given me the opportunity to create pieces that I love and can display throughout my house for years to come. This class has also taught me many different art techniques that I did not previously know about.
